Hi! I'm Maria O'Donoghue, an Irish celebrant who hopped over to the UK more than twenty years ago and never quite left.
I grew up surrounded by stories, laughter, and the kind of Irish wit that can turn even the simplest moment into something magical. Storytelling is part of my heritage, and writing has always been one of my greatest loves — so crafting wedding ceremonies feels like the most natural thing in the world.
Based in Milton Keynes, I create ceremonies that are joyful, personal, and full of heart. I take the time to really get to know you, so the script I write feels like it could only ever belong to the two of you.
Whether you're dreaming of a cosy celebration or a big, bold bash, I bring warmth, creativity, and a storyteller's touch to every ceremony I create. And if you're planning something a little further afield — wonderful! I offer ceremonies throughout the UK and back home in Ireland, where my love of storytelling first began.
